Check out the interactive map below to explore dog friendly breweries. You’ll visit Cycle Brewing, St. Pete Brewing Company, Green Bench Brewing, Cage Brewery, Pinellas Ale Works, and 3 Daughters Brewing.

If I had to rank them, and this is tough, because they are all so good, I would begrudgingly say:

  1. Pinellas Ale Works tied with Cage Brewery
  2. Green Bench Brewing tied with 3 Daughters Brewing
  3. St. Pete Brewing Company tied with Cycle Brewing

The main reasons why are: available space, how much the staff likes having dogs, and how much the identity of dog-lovers is apparent. In the case of Pinellas Ale Works, dogs are incorporated into every aspect of the brewery. With Cycle, not so much. Having said that, none of these breweries in Downtown St. Pete are bad for dogs and you will be welcomed at every single one!

Cycle Brewing: 534 Central Ave, St. Petersburg, FL
Cycle Brewing has my favorite IPA in town. They are not scared of hops here. As for dogs, it’s pretty good too. With open access to Central Ave, you’ll be able to hang out on the pedestrian-friendly St. Pete main street. This brewery doesn’t offer a whole ton for pooches, but they are all welcome.

St. Pete Brewing Company: 544 1st Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL
Just a block from Cycle Brewing you’ll find namesake of the city, St. Pete Brewing. Their flagship IPA is named after one of their dogs, Milo. That should give you an idea of how much they like having dogs here. Bartenders keep dog treats behind the counter, and the outside area is roomy for being dead-center in downtown. You’ll enjoy St. Pete Brewing, and so will your dog.
Green Bench Brewing: 1133 Baum Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL
Head down to the super hip and trendy Edge District to find Green Bench Brewing. While only a few blocks from Cycle and St. Pete Brewing, you’ll feel like you’ve entered a whole new world. Notably, you’ll find the lawn a welcome addition for your furry friend. The beer is great, the staff is awesome, and there are loads of dogs hanging out here. Green Bench is where you’ll regularly find the dogphrendly team.
Cage Brewery: 2001 1st Ave S, St. Petersburg, FL
Cage Brewing is the only brewery I’ve found to clearly post dog rules. Great job, Cage! It’s a simple little thing that goes such a long way. It doesn’t hurt that they have a HUGE yard and host events like puppy costume contests ; and doggy meet-ups.

Pinellas Ale Works: 1962 1st Ave S, St. Petersburg, FL
Literally across the street from Cage is Pinellas Ale Works. PAW for short. PAW because they LOVE dogs, and dogs are everywhere, and multiple beers are named after dogs. They host pop up shops for dogs. They host rescue events for dogs. They have paws on the walls and glassware. You will not feel more welcomed at any other brewery in town – a hard accomplishment in this town.

3 Daughters Brewing: 222 22nd St S, St. Petersburg, FL
Maybe it’s just me, but I think 3 Daughters Brewing is the most fun brewery and best designed….for people. For dogs, it’s pretty good too! You’ll find plenty of space here and plenty of parking. A wide range of games make this not only a dog-friendly brewery, but also a family-friendly one.
