Pride Street Festival - DTSP - 2016

What you need to know

The St Pete Pride Street Festival will be held Sunday, June 26,2016 in St Pete beginning at 11am and ending at 6pm.
About the St Pete Pride Festival
Expected to draw more than 50,000 of our friends, the St Pete Pride Street Festival returns to Central Avenue in the Grand Central District promising to be larger, livelier and bolder than ever! The St Pete Pride Street Festival will again be the largest community event of the season as festival goers come together to make history while enjoying a day of live performances and entertainment, community booths, art and fantastic food in paradise.
After last year’s overwhelming demand, the Festival length has been extended by an entire city block, and the St Pete Pride Street Festival will be more diverse and shop-stopping than ever. Over 350 exhibitors will line both sides of Central Avenue for six city blocks in a rainbow celebration of food and beverage vendors, artists, small businesses, corporations, professional sports teams, community outreach groups, non-profit organizations and Pride themed merchandisers.
Be Courteous
No outside beverages or alcohol may be brought to the Parade. Water and other beverages will be sold throughout Central Avenue between the blocks of 22nd and 27th Streets. In the interest of general safety, please refrain from bringing in the following to the Parade:
  • Alcohol (open container laws and city ordinances still apply)
  • Inline Skates
  • Laser pointers
  • Radios
  • Skateboards/Scooters
  • Fireworks
  • Weapons/Firearms
  • Pets or animals (we love animals, but for their safety, leave them at home)
Getting There
There are several options when coming to St Pete Pride. And as with any large event, parking can always be a challenge. If you plan on driving, we recommend you carpool. Regardless of how signs may read, St Pete Pride does not operate any parking areas near the Parade or Street Festival and advise attendees to avoid parking in paid parking lots.
PSTA buses will be running frequently along 1st Avenues North and South – parallel to the events – making it easy to leave your car at home or in an outlying parking spot while PSTA chauffeurs you to and from the celebrations.
PSTA operates several routes along the parade and festival corridor, which will give revelers easy and frequent access to cool, comfortable buses throughout the day and well into the evening. Among the routes serving the celebration in the Grand Central District will be the Central Avenue Trolley, Routes 7, 18, 20 and 52. Several routes will also be detoured to accommodate the celebrations and those detours can be found at the PSTA Rider Alert webpage.
