A Luxurious Series Of Events – St. Pete Art And Fashion Week

The latest craze, definition of style, a great look, comfortable feel, wearable art and a distinguishing factor that help identify you in a first impression. Yes, we are talking about fashion. Shakespeare even included the ideology in Hamlet, “For the apparel oft proclaims the man.” There are about forty Fashion Weeks hosted in different cities across the globe yearly (the first began in NYC in 1943). Luxe Fashion Group presents St. Pete Art and Fashion Week for the sixth year in a row right here in Downtown St. Pete, Florida.

Luxe Fashion Group Founder, Dona Crowley, has been in the fashion industry for her entire life. This beauty worked as a child model, taught runway at modeling schools, and has a wealth of experience working with designers through the years. Currently, Crowley is dedicated to producing luxury lifestyle events in The Tampa Bay area. These grand affairs include Chillounge, Cars and Couture, and St. Pete Art and Fashion Week.

When the idea for Fashion Week came about, Luxe Fashion Group wanted to incorporate more of the vast art community in Downtown St. Pete. Since DTSP is infinitely identified by the artists, Crowley decided to incorporate art into the mix of events. (Hence the name of the ongoing event: St. Pete Art and Fashion Week). A key factor of any event she produces is asking herself if she would want to attend as a guest. Crowley proudly says that the week excites her and other artists and that she would absolutely attend if she wasn’t creating the masterpiece.

What can attendees expect?

In a nutshell, it is a weeklong (September 12 – September 17, 2016) series of fashion and art events featuring local artists, fashion designers, and models who all come together to create an opulent experience. This year’s theme is Bright Colors and Wild Flowers, which is a brilliant way to shine light upon and raise funds for The Warehouse Arts District in Downtown St. Pete.

“I’m a girly girl. I like to dress up!” Crowley said as she explained her passion for fashion. The series of events is both fun and creative for her. Plus, she and her entrepreneurial spirit do a fabulous job at making it all come together.

“Keep pushing the same thing and grow it to make it big. Stick to what your passion is and keep working at it.” Bravo to Dona Crowley and Luxe Fashion Group for presenting and creating St. Pete Art and Fashion Week for the sixth consecutive year!
